  I came here for my daughter's 14th birthday and 4 friends they had afternoon tea, the girls all had a great time, they enjoyed the food, they said the staff were very polite and would love to come again

  Family meal out. Excellent food and the pineapple upside down cake is to die for. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Highly recommend. Will be back again x x x

  This business has been recently taken over by new management and turned it from an expensive restaurant back into a family friendly public house. It offers a good selection of ales and has a real family appeal. There is a children's area in the large garden and if you like to walk the dog as an excuse to pop into the pub for a quick pint then your in luck as dogs are also welcome in the saloon bar. Obviously dogs are not permitted in the restaurant area. Well worth a visit for a bite to eat in the restaurant and a descent drink.
